Intrepid Digital provides quality software design and consultancy services to businesses in Wales and the North West.

He trained as an Architect after leaving school which led him into the Computer Aided Design industry where he used his architectural and software skills to design user interfaces for niche Computer Aided Design applications. His wife, Carole, had, in the meantime been running her own successful Computer Training company and in 1994 they joined forces and formed Catalyst Software Design Ltd. This company concentrated on designing software for the Wholesale Distribution and Property Management sectors and had some significant clientele including Wrexham County Council who still use Alan's software.

In 2005 Kodit Database Ltd asked Catalyst to design a revolutionary PDA asset management system called AccuCheck and in 2007 Catalyst was integrated into Kodit making Alan and his wife Directors and Shareholders of that company.

Alan spent 4 years heading up the design team which moved the AccuCheck product forward and also oversaw the creation of maritime and medical applications

He has since taken on many prestigious contracts including consultant for ESTNET (2012 - 2017) and Software developer for ENS Ltd where he has been actively involved in developing software for use in care homes across the UK.
